If you already have insurance through a parent or employer, you can provide your current health insurance information to have the charge for Duke Student Health Insurance waived. To begin the process of having your insurance charge waived, do the following:
- Log into the DukeHub. See the screen shots below.
- Go to the "Forms and Requests" tab
- Select Health Insurance
- Click the link "waive, enroll, or view your status"
- DO NOT ENROLL. Enter your current health insurance information and click "submit for review"

Students may be eligible to receive assistance to cover the cost of the Duke student health insurance. Students should follow the steps below and contact their financial aid counselor to find out what options may be available.
Regardless of whether you have current health insurance or not, follow the screenshots below to complete the health insurance process. If you have any questions about the process, you can contact insurance@studentaffairs.duke.edu.

Note: If you are choosing Duke's insurance over your own and are prepared to cover the full cost, click enroll. However, if you are seeking to have the charge waived or covered by financial aid, you should NOT click the enroll button.
