The cost of your Duke-In Global Education program is determined by the Global Education Office. Financial aid considers your expenses for tuition, fees, room, meals, estimated airfare, visas, and other personal expenses when preparing your award.
If you have not already used your two summer terms of aid, the amount you will be expected to contribute toward your program is determined by taking 25% of the academic year's parent contribution. Summer Session I uses the prior year's parent contribution, and Summer Session II uses the upcoming year's parent contribution. (For this reason, Summer Session II aid cannot be processed until your renewal application is complete.)
For example, if the parent contribution for the academic year just ending was $10,000, the Summer I contribution would be $2,500. If the parent contribution for the upcoming year was $12,000, the Summer II contribution would be $3,000.
