Entrance Loan Counseling

Down arrow

All students borrowing Federal Student Loans are required to complete entrance counseling. If this is the first time you've borrowed the type of federal loan offered in your financial aid notification, you must complete entrance counseling in order to receive your funding.

First-Time Borrowers' Seminar (Undergraduates Only)

To complete the second part of your entrance counseling, you must attend the First-Time Borrowers' Seminar. In these sessions, you will learn how to limit your borrowing, live on the resources you have, manage the repayment of your loans, and learn about the qualifications to have your federal loans forgiven.

For your convenience, we offer several small group sessions during the fall semester according to your counselor’s availability.  Please choose from one of the following dates based on your assigned Financial Support Counselor.  If you are unable to attend your Counselor’s session due to your class schedule, you may register for another counselor’s session.
