Ziola Kowzan

Bio

Although I’m originally from the Tampa Bay area of Florida, I moved to North Carolina in 2010 and have enjoyed every minute of my time here. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020 with a degree in American Studies and Journalism and moved to Durham shortly after.

As a financial aid recipient at Carolina, I grew a strong appreciation for the team of people who made my college education a possibility and have always wanted to be that person for others. Since graduating, I've worked primarily in healthcare benefits, but am extremely excited to enter the higher education field!
